Practice Partners
Periplus grows by adding practices. Approaches from prospective practice partners are received in confidence; expressions of interest in other capacities—senior advisers and specialist affiliates among them—are received the same way. The collection network is engaged separately, under its own agreements.
A practice is a domain held by one partner: a defined field, a deliberately limited number of clients, and the firm’s standing collection capability behind it—several thousand interlocutors across 85 jurisdictions. The partner frames the questions with the client, directs the collection, and delivers the judgement; partners neither collect nor deal directly with the network. What returns is quality-controlled and independently reviewed before it reaches them. Conflicts are cleared at firm level before any mandate is accepted.
Practice partners are senior practitioners from strategic intelligence, disputes, and adjacent fields—government service, industry, finance, mediation—with a following in a defined domain, focused on Africa, the Middle East, or South, Central, and Southeast Asia. Practices are based wherever their clients are. The firm provides what no practice can build alone: the methodology, the networks, the compliance protocols, and a structure for holding clients over years.
